Overwhelmed w/ Awesomeness

Missed the screening of my short film, 21st Century Romance, last week because of my show w/ Towne Street, 7th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival; but I’m making it to today’s screening of my other short film, Land of Smiles, before getting back on stage tonight! Setting up a network meeting for GUIDES WebSeries, and my next short film, UNIFA, is scheduled to screen next month!! Please Like, Follow, and Share!

Ciao,

The Time Has Come…To Be a Badass

Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of working with a stunt double for the first time. His name is Flavio Gullo, and he’s Italian as Italian gets. Need I say more?

2013-09-01 07.35.32-1

He played my biker stunt double and could not have been more of a gentle soul. Can you imagine me on that monster of a beautiful bike?

2013-09-01 07.40.40

Ok, yes. But can you imagine me actually riding that sleek hunk of metal?

…No pic there. Maybe someday! What is for sure is that I’ll be back on set this weekend to do my big scene and wrap up the entire project. Half the cast is from Ivan Chubbuck Studio–at the top of my To Go To List–no pressure. Stay tuned!

If you haven’t already, you gotta check out Towne Street Theatre’s comedy, Jackleg, for which I serve as Assistant Director and Producer.

2013-08-18 10.31.05

Beyond Therapy, another comedy I produced this summer closed last night, and I could not be more proud. We had a well respected agent in the house last night, as well as several members from the NAACP. Seats are quickly filling up for the closing of Jackleg this weekend!

Ciao Ciao,

Patricia

Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

Another show done and gone too soon. I am so very grateful to my friends and family who took the time to come out and watch my first endeavor as a sketch comic and writer. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from my teacher, classmates, and–most importantly–the audience was more than I could have ever asked for and has certainly sparked a flame that I both fear and excitedly anticipate to grow into a virile fire–a fire with no hope of being put out. I should certainly hope not.

Pursuing SNL doesn’t seem so scary now after all…

Stay Tuned,

P

Look Out Now!!

My reading of Crawdaddy by Barbara White Morgan at The Attic Theatre went swimmingly and was followed by a healthy discussion on racism in America today.

USA Today Bestselling Author, Barbara Bretton, has asked me to record another audiobook for her through ACX/Audible! It’s a holiday-themed novella, so it should be out by Halloween. Our last project, Charmed: A Sugar Maple Short Story, can now be found on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.

To the Thee-yah-tuh!

Friends,

I’ve done it. I had the chance to be a company member for Theatre West a couple of years ago and foolishly took some ill advice to decline the invitation. Well, I’m not making that same mistake again! I am happy to report that I am now an official Towne Street Theatre Company member! I have been greeted w/ such welcome arms and have already started playing a part by helping w/ the house on preview night for their well-recieved Ten-Minute Play Festival. Their 3-weekend run is nearly sold out! Come check it out and preview what I’ll be a part of:
